New! EDS-A - Enhanced Delivery System Air Platform

The EDS-A Platform is a updated version of the Container Roll Out Platform (CROP), allowing conformance to the Army's three major transportation systems: LHS Tactical Trucks, ISO cargo containers and Military cargo aircraft such as the C-130 and C-17. This configuration has a high potential for meeting total Army Distribution Systems needs. The LN700 can be used on any commercially available standard end-opening freight container or with any LHS truck, US or NATO models, without any modification to the trucks. The EDS-A reduces the amount of individual pallet handling and permits the handling of 13.0 tons of cargo in a single lift. The wholesale portion of the distribution is greatly improved because the compatibility with the ISO intermodal transportation system (flatbed and chassis trailers, railcars, ISO handling equipment and container ships). The retail portion of the distribution benefits because LHS load handling systems have a direct line to the strategic intermodal system. These three mature systems all have strict regulations on the platforms that interface with them. Our EDS-A Model #LN700 is one special platform designed to easily adapt to each of these three transportation systems.
The EDS-A can be removed from an ISO container and loaded onto a PLS Truck in less than 2 minutes!
