20 Years Leading in the Development and Production of Intermodal Platforms

For 20 Years Sea Box Has Proven Itself To Be A Leader In The Development And Production Of Stackable And Roll Out Platforms.

Sea Box Intermodal Platforms are ideal for bulk cargo transportation and warehouse storage.  Our successful track record spans 20 years with several innovations that have catered to customers within the oil refining, construction, and pipe/bulk cargo handling industries.  Time and again, no matter the industry, our platform solutions have substantially reduced the costs associated with transportation, handling, and storage of bulk cargo.

The image below highlights Sea Box’s extensive experience in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of stackable platforms with both rollers and slider pads.  This physical history depicts our platform innovations throughout the years.  Each platform is shown with an introduction date and any related patent date.

Shown in ascending order from the bottom:

  • Container Roll Out Platform [CROP- 1997]
  • Container Air Mobile Platform [CAMP - 2001]
  • Joint Modular Intermodal Platform [J-MIP - 2002]
  • Intermodal Warehouse System [IWS – 2017]

(*All are securely locked together using the same posts that we currently provide for the IWS.)

The image below is a much older photograph (from July 7, 2004).  It shows our CROP Platform and a J-MIP Platform locked together utilizing the same post technology we utilize today.  Since 2004, Sea Box has provided similar platforms separated by these posts with both rollers and slider pads.  The CROP was introduced to the U.S. Army in 1997.  We still provide new units to the U.S. military in 2018!

Sea Box is certified to the ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System standards and has a history of delivering high quality products for 35 years.
